A Sports Scientist studies the body's movement applying to physiology and biomechanics. They are mainly focused on medicines and sciences that have to do with the body of an athlete. The main focus of a Sports Scientist is to test blood, the heart rate, and determine the flexibility, strengths, and weaknesses of an athlete to better enhance their performance. Sports Scientists are usually hired by professional teams, colleges or universities, individual athletes, and/or sports laboratories.
